I just came back from a weekend spa getaway to Batam.
Highlights includes:
Kayaking in a puddle of a lagoon (and spotting a sea snake which freaked out the Boyfriend)
Slothing in the hotel room watching cable (which I strangely enjoyed immensely)
Eating relatively cheap seafood at the Kelong Restaurant
2.5 hours spa session where I got rubbed and scrubbed [...]

Today I had an unsettling thought.
I realized that I can no longer differentiate between what is being reasonable and what is being compromising.
By nature, I’m not inclined towards reasonable-ness. If everyone is reasonable, who will do the crazy stuff? Yet, the older we get, the more it is demanded of us to be reasonable.
