Somehow, I don’t know how, its the last day of the year!
Right now, I’m frantically trying to get my hands on one of those Moleskin 2009 planner at PageOne which are going for 40% off.
Aside from post-Christmas/end-of-year sales (and there are many), I’d also been concerned with my rapid acquisition of a premature quarter-life [...]

Bicycles & Giant Shades

Once upon a time, I wrote exhaustively long and detailed captions for all of my photographs because I believed (then) that pictures should always be contextualized by words. I’m compulsive obsessive about capturing what’s just outside the frame.
Today, I am no longer young enough for that
This photo is great because for once, inanimate [...]
Shoes & Wonderlust

I’m supposed to be at supper with The Girls at Serangoon Gardens now.
But I suddenly got tired and really wanted to stay in to watch TV and read.
CK said that I’m getting old. I think he’s right!

The Elusive Moleskin
Posted in Bookworms Club, Complete Frivolity on December 26, 2008 | Leave a Comment »
The new year is fast approaching and that means (among other things) that I need to get a new Moleskin.
It seems absurd that I should spend this much on a regular, ordinary-looking notebook, but its not really the paper we’re buying, but the idea behind it.
Of course it can be pretentious how we chase the [...]

So, how’s the Christmas?
I’m just glad to be home on a Thursday.
Tomorrow is not a holiday, but I’m quite sure no work will be done…

This is a cute photo. Us, being diligent take-photo-of-everything tourists. Although we’ll never quite admit we’re tourists, to ourselves
I realised that all the photos which catch my eye are [...]
Venice Sinks Again

Venice just experienced its biggest flood in 22 years. Its pretty funny seeing photos of masculine, grown men wearing tigh-high wellies.
I like Venice. Its one of those truly beautiful places that makes you wonder if its real.
When I visited in the Spring of ‘07, it was warm, humid and sticky. It’s the Other Europe, so [...]

I’m on a roll, blogging here today.
I’m doing exactly as the above in office now A month of being away has left me almost no hope of ever finishing up with the accumulated reads on my Google Reader – but you know, I’m always kind of hopeful.
And my weekends resolution shall be to [...]
So This Is Christmas

I think that the best part about Christmas is the scent of fresh, crisp wrapping paper.
Its the scent of anticipation, promise and small delights!

I’ll have a teddy bear too, because we’ll look so cute together and everyone will go ‘awww…’ in perfect unison

Was a long and dark December
From the rooftops I remember
There was snow,
White snow.
- Violet Hill, Coldplay
Right now, I love this song.

Last night, my mad friends (and I) finished up 2/3 of my bottle of absinthe.
Which explains why I feel a little stoned now.
And it tastes like shit without the sugar right?

Today, I just [...]
