Woah, is this banner made for me?! LOL
Actually, I just like to be dramatic. Things are not so bad

I went out on Saturday night and crawled back home at 730 am on Sunday morning.
Quite a record, even after taking into consideration those wild Copenhagen party nights.

Me: Eh, why is [...]

Recently, I’d been living the life of a teenage alcoholic.
(On scaring each other) [via SMS]
Me: Are you still alive (after another round of drinks the night before)
A: Just very tired! What makes you think that I’m dead?
Me: Nothing, just checking. So tonight, again?
A: Cannot la, I’m really very tired! Are you going?!
Me: Nope, [...]
Circa 1907 – 1915

This photo was taken in 1910, almost 100 years ago! It spooks me to find century old photographs that look like they were taken yesterday.
They were taken by royal photographer, Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii, from 1907 – 1915 in Tzarist Russia.
I didn’t even know colour photography is possible at that point in time. And these are [...]

I’m always a little too eager to shout, ‘Yeah, VICTORY!’.
When it really is about patience.
Learning to wait it out is the whole point.

This morning, on the way out the door, I spotted my sister’s over-priced rubber flip flops. I don’t like flip flops.
Me: *scoff* Flip flops.
Sister: You shuddup, you fake bohemian! [I think she just [...]

(On Looking Past) [via MSN]
Me: I was having a meeting with a lady from the management just now. She started telling me about Buddhism. And I was already late for my next meeting.
P: See, she’s trying to get you to see past being late for the next meeting.
Me: She was telling me how to lead [...]

(On 15 Kinds of Cereal) [via MSN]
Me: Okay, so I’m going to try buying ah pek (translate: old man) Seiko watches from Mustafa. I bet they have Longines too – probably 10-20% cheaper.
N: Okay, I’m in.
Me: And maybe we can get ourselves 15 kinds of cereals as well. Because we can.
N: I like cereal. [...]

I had dinner with N last night. I told him that I’m compiling a book of conversations, to be published in the future so as to bring me fame and fortune.
I also told him that he’ll be featuring heavily in it.

N: I just ate a salad for dinner last night.
Me: I can never really just [...]
Soul Mates

(On Money & Soul)
N: I wish I can just lift a finger and get a million bucks.
Me: So do I. We’re soul mates!
Towards the end of the day, we tend to talk more nonsense than ever.

This was taken at the Wine Bar a couple of weeks ago:
[Liyi & I]
I almost never do al fresco in Singapore – its always a losing battle with the humidity and stickiness. But in this case, there really wasn’t a choice. Wine Bar was packed and spilling over. Which explains the ratty-looking hair.
Also, I’m wearing [...]

Last night, the Boyfriend and I caught the midnight show for Star Trek. I never had any intention of watching it until Angeline wrote that it was surprisingly good. That was about the 3rd good review I’d heard of the movie (plus another couple from the Boyfriend’s side) so there’s good reason to find out [...]
