I thought that its a nice, auspicious number to end on

I started blogging back in 2003, shortly before I entered university. Its been a long six years since. I’d never been much of a consistent blogger – I often find it difficult to write on demand and my posts are dependent on my very unpredictable whims.

Sometimes I write 5 times a day, sometimes I don’t write for two weeks.

That does not a very good blogger make.

So it isn’t surprising that I have contemplated stopping this for good. But blogging has proven to be a particularly resilient habit.

I believe that regular renewal can help to keep us at this. A change of scene is always good anyway.

Which is why I’m moving To here (surprisingly, storyofadot.wordpress.com is still available!).

I went out on Saturday night and crawled back home at 730 am on Sunday morning.

Quite a record, even after taking into consideration those wild Copenhagen party nights.

Me: Eh, why is it so bright ah?

S: Erm… cos its freaking 7 o’clock in the morning?!

Me: Oh. How the hell did it get so late?

In other news, I’d been buying stuff from the iTunes Store recently. Those games are so addictive and incredibly cheap that I have a good mind to collect all of them!

This is how I’m going to become a pauper.

US$0.99 at a time.

I think I need a cupcake.

NOW.

I think demanding a cupcake from Life, when it is giving me so much shit recently, is really not too much to ask.

So, I’ll be taking mine with pink frosting. It just looks right.

That explains why writers are such insecure creatures – what will that faceless audience think of these words?

I realized, that when I use a lip brush, I get these incredibly well-shaped lips. A little effort goes a long way.

These ‘official’ events are wildly amusing. When night falls, out comes the Johnny Walkers and Absoluts. Consuming copious amount of alcohol is not only acceptable but very much encouraged and looked fondly upon.

And why not? It makes everyone that bit friendlier and there’s laughter.

With a few minutes to spare before going out to join the jolly merry-making, I watch French TV in an Indonesian hotel room. Real French doesn’t sound half as good as a French-accented voice speaking English.

The reason we go through shit is that we’ll have a good story to tell when we’re old and no longer think that the world is our oyster!

Why are our Singaporean men so obsessed with English clubs? I think its kind of cute though

I think I look really kiddish with the short hair (not in a good way) – the bangs will have to grow out a bit I guess. I always end up cutting them a little too short.

Also, the pork chop (with pineapple brown sauce) which I had wasn’t bad at all.

Me: Are you still alive (after another round of drinks the night before)

A: Just very tired! What makes you think that I’m dead?

Me: Nothing, just checking. So tonight, again?

A: Cannot la, I’m really very tired! Are you going?!

Me: Nope, just trying to scare you lol

A: What?! Scare me for what? What if I’d said yes? Haha.

Me: If you’d said yes, you would have scared me.

Me: I went for a short drinks with S & F again. I drank coke. I feel so disciplined! Suddenly paranoid about beer fats.

A: Bet they were laughing at your coke!

Me: They thought I was possessed by a coke-drinking demon

Also, I came to office today with what is left of my Absinthe.

Its not for me though I always share the good things!

Then I started thinking of the guy who I had a major crush on when I was 21. I didn’t know it then, but I was so young.

I remember how much I liked him. Because he is so clever. And funny. I love these men – it is such fun just to be around them.

We’re always laughing about something. We are so different, but we always find something to laugh about together. I think that’s the best part.

It occured to me that I have always loved the laughs of the men I like. That’s why I always try to make them laugh And when they do laugh at something I say or do, I’ll feel like I’d done something incredibly good.

I no longer have a crush on this guy, but he is still one of my favourite persons.

I just thought of him, that’s all. There’s no significance to this whatsoever.
